In her free time a young student works as a stuntwoman for Tv and cinema. Her specialities are acrobatics full of suspense and dangerous action scenes, which end fatally
with her character’s death.

She likes opening her eyes again after every death scene. That makes her invincible or it may help her exorcise her feelings of guilt. One day the astrophysics professor she is in love with seems to vanish. Has he fled? Why? And why is he still going on sending her messages all day long?

The film is written and directed by Academy Award winner Giuseppe Tornatore and the film's score is by Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Ennio Morricone.
