"War Landscapes" by Alfredo Macchi is a fifteen year-long photo project of the major conflicts around the world. They range from the ruins of Kabul in 2001 to the gutted houses of southern Lebanon in 2006, the ghost town of Libya during the revolt in 2011 to the refugee camps in South Sudan and Iraq in recent years.
Gabriele Stabile’s "Census" deals with his Rome blues - the deliberate cuts and scratches, the actual evident manipulation, pushed the boundaries of the visual storytelling and served as a link that unified eye, vision, memory and experience.
